According to the Public Relations Office of the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, during a meeting held on June 29 (8 Tir in the Iranian calendar) at the Razi Applied Sciences Foundation, the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and Tourism and the Razi Applied Sciences Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The agreement aims to leverage the facilities and capabilities of both organizations to promote the development of science and technology and their application in the field of applied sciences, while advancing the scientific and technological objectives of mutual interest in accordance with the laws and regulations of the country.
The memorandum was signed by Mohammad Ebrahim Zarei, President of the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, and Sattar Nasiri, Chief Executive Officer of the Razi Applied Sciences Foundation.
The implementation of this memorandum is considered essential, given the importance of social capital in the development of cultural, economic, and social markets related to cultural heritage, tourism, and handicrafts.
Furthermore, making effective use of the country’s scientific expertise and business capacities will help accelerate the achievement of the Research Institute’s strategic objectives, enhance stakeholder satisfaction, and strengthen the Institute’s position at both the national and international levels.
Following the signing ceremony, the participants toured the Gemology Laboratory, as well as the Metallography and Polymer Laboratories.
