Hydrostatic Pressure Tests

Hydrostatic Testing, also known as pressure or leak testing, is a critical method used to assess the structural integrity and safety of components designed to operate under pressure. This test verifies the strength, durability, and performance of pressure-containing products while identifying potential leaks or weaknesses.

Hydrostatic testing is commonly applied to pressure vessels, pipes, tubes, and coils. During the test, the component is filled with a liquid typically water. The test piece is then pressurized to a specified level and closely inspected for leakage, pressure loss, or any signs of deformation such as bulging or distortion.

This technique allows leaks to be easily detected through air bubbles and provides an added level of safety for testing personnel in the event of rupture.

Hydrostatic testing is an essential quality assurance step to ensure the reliability and safe operation of components used in high-pressure applications

Wear Test

The Pin-on-Disk Wear Test is a widely used method for evaluating the wear resistance and frictional behavior of materials under controlled sliding conditions. In this test, a stationary pin is pressed against a rotating disk with a specified normal load, creating continuous sliding contact between the two surfaces.

The Pin-on-Disk test provides valuable data such as wear rate, coefficient of friction, and surface damage patterns. These results are essential for assessing material performance, comparing different materials or coatings, and predicting service life in real operating conditions.

Due to its repeatability and versatility, the Pin-on-Disk wear test is commonly used in material development, quality control, and reliability evaluation.

Performance of Industrial valves

Performance testing of industrial valves is conducted to evaluate their functional behavior, mechanical integrity, pressure resistance, and sealing performance under defined operating conditions. Testing programs cover a wide range of valve types, including gate valves, butterfly valves, globe valves, and check valves, and are performed in accordance with relevant international standards.

These tests are designed to assess critical parameters including operating torque, pressure and leak tightness, ensuring that valves meet specified performance requirements for safe and reliable operation in industrial service. Performance evaluation supports product qualification, type approval, quality control, and compliance with regulatory and customer specifications.
