Rock and soil samples are analyzed using advanced on-site scanning and spectrometric technologies, including portable scanners, Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), and X-ray Fluorescence (XRF). These non-destructive and minimally destructive techniques allow rapid multi-element analysis with minimal sample preparation requirements.
LIBS technology provides fast, in-situ elemental characterization with high spatial resolution, enabling qualitative and semi-quantitative determination of major, minor, and selected trace elements. Portable XRF analyzers are utilized for quantitative elemental analysis, offering robust performance for a wide range of metals and pathfinder elements commonly associated with mineral exploration.
